What this tuner does
- Pick any pitch family from 1-hon through 12-hon and play shamisen open-string reference tones.
- Switch instantly between honchoshi, niagari, and sansagari.
- Change the A4 reference from A440 to values such as A442.
- See microphone waveform data and a moving needle relative to the selected string.
The reference tones and microphone analysis stay inside the browser. A typical workflow is to play a string tone first, then fine-tune it with the needle display.
